Set the Green Tip Date in the Scab Model

To set the green tip date for the scab model, open the tab on the left-hand side labeled View by Model and click on your station. The program accepts the Green Tip date in the box shown below.

You can enter the date by using the calendar tool — click the small arrow to the right of the date field to select the appropriate date.

Check Your Crop Stage and Products

Check your Crop Stage by selecting the appropriate stage from the drop-down menu. Then click on the Protectants tab to view products recommended for use before a scab infection occurs.

Station Data Note

Please note: All Growers Supply stations (e.g., Summerland North, Winfield South, etc.) will run the scab model because they are equipped with leaf wetness sensors.

Environment Canada stations (e.g., Summerland EC) will NOT run the scab model, as these stations do not have leaf wetness sensors.
