Join us for the next workshop in the Tree Fruit nitrogen management series with a focus on Nitrogen Fertilizers types, uses and advantages.

Event Description: 

The BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund and the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food invite you to a continuation of the Nitrogen Management Education Series. Horticultural advisors and growers are invited to attend and learn the latest approaches to fertilizer technology. Join our experts to discuss nitrogen fertilizer types, uses and advantages for tree fruits. 

Our guest speakers for the workshop are Stephen Eng and Dr. Denise Nielsen. Stephen Eng has recently retired from a 30-year career in Agronomy, where he worked with growers throughout BC to develop nutrient programs for their crops. DrDenise Nielsen is a recently retired Research Scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, she has worked on nutrition, irrigation and fertigation projects for a number of horticultural crops. 

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This training session is organized by the BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund and the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Funding for the BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund has been provided by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the Agricultural Climate Solutions – On-Farm Climate Action Fund.
