We are currently experiencing a technical issue with the BC-DAS Scab model which is not reflecting up-to-date weather data.
All Apple growers in Kelowna and areas north of Kelowna should consider that a scab infection period has occurred with leaf wetness and rainfall starting on the afternoon Thursday, April 24, 2020.
If you were not covered with a protectant product during this infection period – please consult the BC Tree Fruit Production Guide for a list of eradicant products that will provide “kick-back” activity for scab during a 24-72 hour period post-infection.
